Painting

I make my paintings using oil and acrylic technique, often on characteristic underpaintings where a frame is an integral part of the painting.
(...) I start the realization of the close world on the surface from designing gravitation. At the very beginning I intuitively choose the best parameters in order to maintain order in the painting, later during other works – I fragment more or less by the cry of colour, the force of value or the poke of shape so that everything plays with pure sound… or obvious false. At the beginning I break the form, not completely – I chip it away into pieces. I put them into a hat, stir and take out with closed eyes. I am pleased when an unknown algorithm arranges them on the surface in a way different from the original one, interesting, surprising, fascinating but less functional than the real one (...)

Drawing

The Drawing is the expression of my liking for a coincidence and improvisation. I enjoy communing with structures, subtleties of mutual relationship between the easiest forms: lines and stains with the matter of paper and paint which combines with them in various ways. In my opinion, the borderline between a drawing and painting is fluid; therefore, I decided not to divide my works in terms of the applies means of expression. A line in my drawings almost always combines with a patch but they together form new structures which determine the fact that we call them drawings. Moreover, they are usually monochromatic or limited to grey gouaches.

Ceramic jewellery

It is good precision training for a hand and an eye, and patience training for a soul. Painting miniatures made with the use of a lasting, refined technology. Miniature underpaintings, miniature amount of paint, miniature space of work.
All presented works are made with the use of the enamel painting technology (enamel paints are fixed in oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature of about 900°C - 1000°C on an underpainting made from fired and enameled red clay). Then fired miniatures are framed in silver with hallmark 925. (The activity is suspended until further notice)
